Career Guidance Center
Mulshi Institute of Technology and Research (MITR) was established in 2007, at Pune, India. Today Mulshi Institute of Technology and Research (MITR), affiliated to University of Pune, Approved by AICTE and Recognized by DTE.
MITR has always ventured into new avenues that are important in national development. Career Guidance Center is a gateway to aspired career and helps to become competent in the world of globalization. MITR Career Guidance Centre envisages providing career services, soft skills development Programme, and preparatory courses to help students to become excellent competent and professional. In order to open new avenues of career, institute is trying to strengthen relationship with industry, Indian and foreign universities and Alumni through more interaction/workshops/visits.
The technical education institute cannot work in isolation but it the institute has to work in coordination with all its stakeholders i.e. students, parents, industries, other institutes and society at large.
It is a responsibility of education institute is to bridge the gap between the academics and industry. The institute should not only involve in the academic matter but it should give enough weight age to Consultancy, Training & Socio Economic changes.
Training and placement
In the present ever changing and fast growing global technological era, Collaborations / Long Term relationships with the most reputed in the Industry and Academia has paramount importance in the Academic excellence of out-standing professional Institutes.
Besides, it is equally important to increase the employability of the Students. This is best achieved by bridging the gap between general caliber of the Engineering graduates and the actual requirement of the Industry, through various Campus Connect Programs. It is a matter of great pride that we have signed number of Industry / Collaborations, with world known MNCs, and continuously trying to have more linkage / collaborations.
LINKAGES WITH INDUSTRY
It is well known that Pune is hub of Mechanical, Electronics, Automobile and it is well established Silicon City of India. All efforts will be taken to bridge the gap between industry & institute.
Participation of industry will be obtained at various stages
- Contribution of experts in curriculum making.
- Experts will be invited to give guest lectures.
- Frequent Industrial visits will be arranged.
- Joint industrial projects will be encouraged & industry experts will be requested to act as co-guide.
- Expert will be invited as Co-examiner for the Project seminars & Oral.

LINKAGES WITH OTHER TECHNICAL INSTITUTIONS IN THE REGION
PIET/COEP i.e. Govt. College of Engineering, Pune will be approached to develop informal networking with them under TEQIP. Also, SGGS institute of Engineering, and Technology employs more than 50 doctorates. Some of them and few senior faculties identified for proposed college. They have been worked as a founder faculty there. They are ready for exchange of faculty under Honorary Professor and sabbatical leave scheme.
LINKAGES WITH INSTITUTIONS OF EXCELLANCE
The management of Ignited Minds Society has already initiated the activity of establishment of virtual class room in all of its campuses. Correspondence is made to start the centre of IIT, Bombay at our new campus and connect all other campuses with it. The other two campuses will be connected to IISc and EDUSAT. This way all the campuses will have access to all of these facilities.
Library membership of IIT, Bombay, British Council, will be obtained. Faculty members will be permitted to go for M Tech and Ph. D. at national level institutions. For this purpose QIP scheme at college level will be started.
LINKAGES WITH R & D LABORATORIES
Rapport will be developed with NCL, DRDO and ARDL etc. to take up research activities for faculty and project work of UG, PG students. Support will be obtained from DSIR to develop further linkage with such institutes and industries.
