The course is assessed on the basis of various combinations of practical works, submission (journal work), and theory and performance evaluation can be done on the basis of
- Assignments and Tests: As per the policy of Institute, tests and assignments are conducted for students in addition to their regular syllabus. Two theory assignments and one test are conducted for each subject per month. They are evaluated by the respective staff members. This helps the students for preparation of their theory examination.
- Mock tests and orals: To prepare our students for practical and oral examinations, mock (on-line) tests are conducted in the department for the subjects where there are labs associated with them. Students actually experience how there practical examinations will be conducted and can prepare accordingly. Orals are also conducted to judge the understanding of the students. Questions based on every practical assignment are also given to the students so that they get a broad idea of the nature of the questions likely be asked during the practical examinations.
